It comes down to the size and how long you keep it. A mini skip is the cheapest option, an 8 yard or 12 yard costs more but suits bigger jobs. We give you one full price before you book, nothing added later.

Only if it's going on a public road. Skips kept on a private drive or land don't need one. If a permit is needed, we sort the paperwork with the council on your behalf.

A mini skip suits small clearouts, a 4 yard handles most home renovation jobs, and an 8 yard or larger is the right call for building work or big commercial clearances.

Often yes, especially if you call before midday. It depends on the day and area, so it's worth ringing rather than assuming.

Fridges, mattresses, paint tins, tyres and anything flammable usually need separate arrangements. Tell us what you're clearing when you book and we'll flag anything that needs handling differently.

Most hires run for one to two weeks as standard, and we can extend it if the job runs on. Just let us know before the collection date.

A mini skip is meant for small domestic jobs like a garden clearout. A builders skip, usually 6 to 8 yards, is built for renovation waste and heavier loads.
